Currently watching: as we speak i have fargo (the tv show) on, i’m on s3 and i’m enjoying it a lot (i’ve been watching it sporadically for like a year now lol. i’ll finish eventually!)

Currently reading: i’m about to start reading “this is how you lose the time war” if that counts? i have SO MANY BOOKS that i have to read and i keep buying more because i have a problem where owning books makes my brain go brrrr

in case anyone was wondering how my interstitial campaign with my roommates is going, approx half of this week’s session was spent having an in-character mario kart tournament against the greek god hades. so that’s how.

just an update: we had one of my favorite sessions of a ttrpg i’ve ever gmed just now (it was a GHOST HEIST they brought a pc’s GHOST BOYFRIEND back from the DEAD) and also my players finally put together the pieces of who the big bad of the campaign is! which i’ve been dropping hints about for AWHILE

we only have two sessions left of this campaign and they’re definitely gonna be pretty exciting so i’m VERY HYPE

sometimes i like to leave helpful notes for myself if i write something at night and then sleep on it because i have no brain. here’s how they usually go

i’ve been attending an in person class over zoom (thanks to a very accommodating professor) due to my health and i recently got some new meds to try to see if they would help and i thought they were! so i made a personal goal for myself to attend the last few weeks of class in person again because i really do love being a part of class discussions and seeing my professor. but today i feel way to sick to leave the house and i’m really frustrated.

obviously it’s no one’s fault it just sucks that i made a goal and couldn’t reach it because i got my hopes up too soon

not sure how many of my tumblr followers care about my silly penumbra fic but in case anyone was wondering, i will be posting new fics in the coming weeks that i’ve written for the vesbud eclipse event happening, but unfortunately have not been able to finish the vesbud mermaid au that i started posting for femslash february (yes it is april thanks for asking)

the health issues that prevented me from finishing are still going strong, i’ve just had bad priorities when having bouts of non-sickness and worked on new stuff instead of wips (my wips folder cries out to me desperately and i don’t listen)

i have a specialist appointment tomorrow that i’m hoping will bring some kind of answer/treatment but who knows! we’ll see. in the meantime i’m excited to post the fics i wrote soon!

i don’t exactly advertise it, but i do have a youtube channel where i post short little experimental movies that i’m proud of! there’s three things on there right now, but i’m working on a forth (and possibly a fifth?) to be completed within the next few months!

gotta say, as someone who struggles with psychosis, i’m really not a fan of the “it’s a simulation” theories re: the newest penumbra ep that i’ve seen floating around.
