high school AU where jason and nico go to different schools but end up hanging out a lot because their older sisters are BFFs through a city archery team or something and sometimes get forced to take their little brothers with them when they go out
(so basically awkward teenage boys with seemingly nothing in common stuck hanging around outside dressing rooms while their sisters try on clothes and getting dragged to movies neither of them wanted to see and shit)
If Jason was smart, then he would have gotten his driver’s license to go with the Audi R8 his creepy stepmother got him for his birthday. Jason was as big a fan as his sister was—and once he was out of college, Jason saw himself as a professional race car driver.
Too bad Thalia’s driving scarred him for life every time she drove him to school. Or lacrosse practice. Or the thing that took every minute and every second of her life: Archery. (Jason blamed the flawless skin on Coach Artemis. She looked too young to be a teacher and was absolutely beautiful.)
